Information and Bibliographic Department

Provides reference, bibliographic and information services for all categories of Users in accordance with the directions of the educational, scientific and educational work of the University. Coordinates reference and retrieval apparatus (RRA) of the Library. Consults on the use of RRA. Performs bibliographic requests in the "request-response" mode. Provides information services. Compiles scientific auxiliary and advisory indexes and bibliography to help research and educational process. Organizes the process of teaching the basics of library-bibliographic and informational knowledge. Conducts scientific and methodological work.

The Information and Bibliographic Department compiles and publishes newsletters of subscription and new acquisitions, indexes, thematic lists of literature. Organizes permanent exhibitions of new books supply, thematic literature reviews, Information Days, Department Days.

The Information and Bibliographic Department provides Users with:
- electronic catalog and databases;
- paper catalogs and files;
- reference collections consisting of encyclopedias, reference books, statistical materials, series editions, bibliographic guidebooks on various data storage devices.

Computer room

Promotes the informatization of the educational and research processes of the University, the creation of a comfortable information environment for the public use of the Library resources and world information resources.

Provides Users with the ability to work with databases, Internet resources, Library Electronic Catalog, CD and DVD collections, electronic versions of some teaching materials, testing programs for students.
