Dear Users!
Palm oil has been part of the food industry for over 5,000 years and now plays a significant role in the markets of 130 countries around the world. According to ISTA Mielke GmbH, every third kilogram of oil consumed by humans is palm oil.
The semi-solid properties of palm oil make it a very popular ingredient. It is used in cooking fats, margarine, noodles, bread, chocolate, coffee, coffee creams, and ice cream.
Due to its exceptional resistance to oxidation, palm olein is the primary choice for frying such foods as instant noodles, French fries, potato chips, donuts, and fried meat snacks.
There are many myths surrounding palm oil. Despite this, palm oil is not banned, and the WHO only recommends limiting its consumption.
