The International Neurologist Day is celebrated annually on December 1.

Nowadays, neurology is one of the most important branches of modern medicine, which deals with a complex of specific diseases of both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Neurology not only studies the symptoms of diseases and the main mechanisms of their development, but also determines methods and techniques for diagnosing, preventing and treating diseases of a neurological nature.
