Clean Hands Are the Key to Health

Human health begins with clean hands! Every year on October 15 the world celebrates an unusual holiday – Global Handwashing Day. The decision to celebrate this holiday annually was taken by the UN General Assembly jointly with the UNICEF Children's Fund and the World Health Organization in 2008. The main task of this event is to draw attention to timely and proper hand washing as this is one of the most effective ways not only to protect oneself from diseases but also to stop their growth.
