From Smilovichi to Paris Salons. Chaim Soutine

Chaim Soutine is one of the brightest representatives of the Paris School, famous for outstanding painters of the XX century. Chaim Soutine entered the history of fine art as a French artist, although he was born in Minsk province. He had his own style, which is still difficult to define today. In his works, art critics find the influence of abstract impressionism, elements of supernaturalism, futurism and primitivism, and similarities with German expressionism.
