They conduct research, conferences, and develop poverty eradication programs around the world. According to the results of such work, poverty has significantly decreased over the past 25 years. However, the global economic crisis and the "covid" year 2020 have made their own adjustments. By the end of 2022 The World Bank expects the number of poor people in the world to have increased by 150 million people.
