GrSMU Repository in the International Webometrics Ranking (February 2022)

In the new edition of the Webometrics world ranking of repositories "Transparent Ranking: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar" (February 2022), Grodno State Medical University Repository saved its position and ranked 7th among 27 repositories and electronic libraries in Belarus and 248th in the world ranking of institutional repositories.

Ranking Web of Repositories is a sub-rating of the international ranking of world educational institutions in Webometrics, which presents the ranking of repositories, scientific electronic libraries, electronic document archives of universities and scientific organizations.

Its methodology is based on the quantity index of documents hosted in open access repositories and indexed by Google Scholar. Thus, the degree of openness of academic resources and their integration into the information space is rated. The sites of more than 4,200 institutional repositories and electronic libraries of higher educational institutions of the world are analyzed.

GrSMU Repository was created in 2016. At present it includes more than 27,000 documents. Monographs, scientific articles, dissertation abstracts, patents, conference materials written by Grodno State Medical University staff are in the open access.
