GrSMU Repository in the Webometrics "Transparent Ranking of Repositories"

According to the Webometrics "Transparent Ranking: Institutional Repositories by Google Scholar" GrSMU Repository ranked 7th among 26 repositories and electronic libraries in Belarus and 271st among world institutional repositories.

Ranking Web of Repositories is a sub-rating of the international ranking of world educational institutions in Webometrics, which presents the ranking of repositories, scientific electronic libraries, electronic document archives of universities and scientific organizations.

Its methodology is based on the quantity index of documents hosted in open access repositories and indexed by Google Scholar. Thus, the degree of openness of academic resources and their integration into the information space is rated. The sites of more than 2,800 institutional repositories and electronic libraries of higher educational institutions of the world are analyzed.

GrSMU Repository was created in 2016. At present it includes more than 24,000 documents. Monographs, scientific articles, dissertation abstracts, patents, conference materials written by Grodno State Medical University staff are in the open access.
