Dear Library Readers!

Every year, on May 12, by the decision of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Nurses Day is celebrated around the world, in honor of the English nurse Florence Nightingale (1820-1910), who is considered the founder of this profession.

It is difficult to imagine hospitals without nurses. They help doctors, ease sufferings of patients, are always there to soothe and comfort. Their work is emotionally and physically difficult. They are always on duty helping others fight the disease, sometimes forgetting about their own problems.

The Periodicals and Rare Books Department invites you to see the Nurses - Hearts of Gold presentation.
